What is the UnstableSMP server IP?
The UnstableSMP IP is play.unstablesmp.gg. Open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer, choose Add Server, and paste the address exactly as written. Java Edition needs no port. Bedrock players use the same hostname with port 19132 unless a different port is announced in Discord.
What is the Unstable Universe series?
The Unstable Universe, also called the Unstable SMP, is a scripted cinematic Minecraft series created by ParrotX2. It began on April 21, 2024 and is told through four perspective channels: SpokeIsHere, ParrotX2, Wemmbu, and FlameFrags, alongside dozens of featured creators.
Is joining the public server the same as joining the series?
No. The series is recorded on private production servers with invited participants. The public server at play.unstablesmp.gg is the open community world that runs under the same name, with its own survival gameplay, claims, and events.
Can I appear in the Unstable Universe videos?
Fans have taken part in the series through the official Unstable Events Discord, where verified players can be pulled into recordings. Usernames are randomized on camera to protect privacy. Watch the official Discord for participation windows.
Is UnstableSMP free to join?
There is no entry fee for the public server. You need a paid copy of Minecraft Java or Bedrock Edition with a legitimate account. Cracked and offline-mode launchers are not supported.
Do I need a whitelist to join?
The public survival server is intended to be open, so no whitelist application is required under normal conditions. If access is temporarily restricted for maintenance or an event, the current status is posted in the official Discord.
Can Bedrock players join UnstableSMP?
Cross-play is supported through the same hostname, play.unstablesmp.gg. The standard Bedrock port is 19132. Confirm the current port and supported Bedrock version in Discord before connecting, since proxy settings can change between updates.
Which Minecraft version should I use?
Use a recent Java release, 1.21 or newer. The story server in the series runs modern versions as well. When the public server is online, the live status panel on the Play page shows the exact version the server reports.
Are land claims and player shops available?
Yes, claims and player-run shops are core parts of the public survival experience. The land claims guide covers protecting a base and trusting teammates, and the economy guide covers earning currency and setting up a shop.
Where are events announced?
Event dates, sign-ups, temporary rules, and results are posted in the official UnstableSMP Discord. The Events page on this site explains the recurring formats, like TNT arena nights and PvP tournaments, without inventing dates.

The official UnstableSMP Discord invite is https://discord.com/invite/unstablesmp. Use it for announcements, connection support, event sign-ups, and community updates.
Where can I find Spoke and Parrot's official Discord servers?
Spoke's official server is at https://discord.com/invite/spokeishere and Parrot's is at https://discord.com/invite/parrot. Both are linked from their creator profiles on this website along with their public channels.
Is official UnstableSMP merch available?
Not yet. The merch page exists so fans have one trustworthy place to check, and it will only list products once prices, regions, and launch dates are confirmed. Treat unlinked third-party stores as unofficial.
