Unstable SMP FAQ
Find the Java address and version, understand connection errors, and distinguish public-server access from private creator recordings.
Need the address immediately? Open the Unstable SMP server IP reference. For menus and setup, follow how to join Unstable SMP.
What is the Unstable SMP server IP?
The official Unstable SMP server IP is unstable-events.net. Open Minecraft Java 26.3–1.21.11, choose Multiplayer → Add Server, and enter the hostname in Server Address.
Do I need to enter a Java port?
Enter the hostname without a port. Java uses its normal DNS and default-port discovery.
Which Minecraft version should I use?
Both Java and Bedrock support all versions in the range 26.3–1.21.11. Follow current announcements if compatibility changes.
Is there a different address for my country?
The translated guides all describe the same server at unstable-events.net. This website does not publish separate country-specific server addresses.
Can I join a creator recording through this address?
Connecting to the public server does not give access to private recordings or guarantee a session with a creator. Check the relevant event announcement for participation details.
Do I have to sign in on this website?
No. Read the guides and copy the address without a website account. Use the Minecraft Launcher for Minecraft sign-in; never enter your Microsoft password into a form sent by a server member.
Why can the server respond while I cannot join?
A status ping only checks whether the server responds. A restart, full server, access restriction, version mismatch, or account authentication issue may still prevent a connection. Keep the exact message when asking for help.
What is the official Unstable SMP Discord invite?
Use https://discord.com/invite/unstablesmp for announcements and connection help. Never share passwords, one-time sign-in codes, recovery codes, or account tokens with bots or other members.
Where can I watch the creators?
The creator directory links to public channels for Spoke, Parrot, Wemmbu, and FlameFrags. Video channels and public-server connection instructions serve different purposes; watching a video does not grant entry to a private session.
Does this website sell merchandise?
There are no products or checkout on this website. Check any future store destination against a current community announcement before entering payment details.
