Bedrock Edition connection details
The shared server hostname is play.unstablesmp.gg. Port 19132 is commonly used for Bedrock servers and appears in the project brief, but it is intentionally marked as unconfirmed until the server publishes current cross-play details.
- Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, choose Play, and move to the Servers tab.
- Choose Add Server or the equivalent external-server option on your device.
- Enter play.unstablesmp.gg and the port currently confirmed in Discord.
- Save the entry, connect, and read the server rules.
Why the port needs confirmation
Java servers normally use port 25565, while Bedrock commonly uses 19132. Cross-play proxies can expose different ports or temporarily disable Bedrock access during version transitions.
Presenting an unverified port as guaranteed would create bad connection advice. This guide therefore keeps the advertised value visible while directing players to the current server announcement.
Console and device limitations
Windows and mobile Bedrock clients normally provide a direct Add Server interface. Some consoles restrict custom server entries or require device-specific workarounds that can change after platform updates.
Use official platform guidance for your device and avoid tools that ask for account passwords or unrelated network permissions. UnstableSMP cannot guarantee every console workaround.
Cross-play expectations
Cross-play lets Java and Bedrock players share a community, but combat timing, menus, commands, and visual behavior can differ. Report compatibility problems with your edition, device, version, and exact error.
